Jenifer
Marshall Lippincott has worked with adolescents as a high
school English teacher, a dean at a boarding school and a
learning consultant. She has observed, counseled and researched
teens extensively in a quest to understand their quirky, honest
and unpredictable behaviors. She has over twenty years experience
in the learning field, providing counsel to schools in the
areas of communications, diversity, strategic planning, and
moral development. She serves on the Pediatric Alliance for
a Boston area hospital, the Board of Trustees of a Boston
area school and is a Fellow of the Society of Applied Learning.
She is also a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Kid-topia,
a pioneering educational broadband channel for the PC and
has consulted with dozens of corporations on learning strategies.
Ms. Lippincott is an accomplished writer and has published
numerous industry articles in the field of learning and performance.
She is a frequent speaker to parent groups on adolescent issues.
She has appeared on The Today Show and is often quoted in
publications such as The New York Times, The New York Post,
USA Today, The Boston Globe, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The
Chicago Tribune, and The Miami Herald.
She holds a master’s degree in human development from
Harvard University. She lives in Washington, DC with her husband
and two adolescent daughters.
Robin
Deutsch, Ph.D. is the Co-Director of the Children
and Law program at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
A practicing psychologist, she sees adolescents and parents
in individual psychotherapy, as well as teaching at Harvard
Medical School. She lives near Boston, MA with her husband
and two adolescents.
